Janet is a seasoned executive operating for the past thirteen years as an entrepreneur in organizational consulting and coaching and previously in officer positions with General Mills and Charles Schwab. As an experienced, versatile professional in the domains of strategic vision, business planning, alliance partnering and innovation, Janet powerfully combines business leadership and technical management experience for generating organizational results.

Janet joined the company’s six other partners in late summer of 2006 to purchase the Academy for Coach Training.  The team recognized from the direct experience as faculty that training individuals and teams in the skills of coaching is a powerful enabler of social change and effectiveness.  The core curriculum, based upon the organization’s signature, personal transformation program, Living Your Vision®, was the second ICF accredited program to be recognized globally.  Janet understands the value of the transformative coaching approach for every day life, personally and professionally and, as a team, the name inviteCHANGE was adopted to recognize an expanded vision for human development available through our programs.

Choosing to invite rather than react to change creates opportunity and generates a sustainable growth strategy for individuals and organizations.   As CEO, Janet embodies this philosophy every day. In addition to leadership responsibilities for the organization and serving on the faculty, Janet coaches leaders and teams becoming better together.  She is a contributing author to A Guide To Getting It: Powerful Leadership Skills (2004) and enjoys speaking and writing about influential leadership and leading change. At home on Whidbey Island with her husband, Russell, they are avid boaters and Northwest adventurers.
