Edmonds, WA – Amoráh Ross, Co-Owner of inviteCHANGE, was appointed as an Association of Coach Training Organizations (ACTO) board member earlier this month. Ross will serve a two-year term as chairman of the Credentials and Global Standards Committee. There are currently 10 members on the ACTO board, all of whom are Master Certified Coaches (MCC).

“I look forward to serving the profession, as well as evolving our global initiative,” says Ross. “Coaching is becoming more widely-accepted and I hope to be at the forefront of collaborative changes.”

There are currently 56 credentialed coaching programs throughout the US and Ross hopes to bring them all together as a unified voice for the International Coach Federation (ICF). She looks forward to redefining the relationship between coaching programs, ICF and the profession as a whole.

“This is a very pivotal time for the coaching profession,” says Ross. “We are developing national standards and launching into the world in a big way.”

Ross has been active in ACTO for many years. She served on the Credentials and Global Standards Committee for two years, and last year was appointed treasurer for the Association. Ross is also currently an oral and written examiner for ICF’s portfolio application process.

“I really enjoy assessing individuals who have participated in self-built training,” says Ross. “It’s an inspiring process to see really excellent, passionate coaches striving to be their best.”

As one of the first coaches in the world to receive certification from the International Coach Federation, Amoráh Ross is a pioneer in the coaching industry. She built her successful coaching career primarily as a Life Coach working with individual clients and groups interested in self-empowerment and spiritual development. Now as co-owner and Director of Training for inviteCHANGE, Amoráh is passionately dedicated to providing services that continually raise the bar for coaches worldwide.

“inviteCHANGE focuses on embracing change as a way of life,” says Ross. “As an ACTO board member I hope to bring some exciting change to the coach training curriculum and to the global profession.”
