Be The Cause

Accreditation

The field of coaching is self-regulated, and the International Coach Federation is the leading global organization dedicated to advancing the coaching profession. The ICF offers the only globally recognized, independent credentialing program. An ICF Credential is awarded to professional coaches who have fulfilled rigorous education and experience requirements and demonstrated a strong commitment to excellence in coaching. To be eligible for an ICF Credential, a coach must complete coach-specific training; achieve a designated number of coaching experience hours; partner with a certified Mentor Coach; and demonstrate an appropriate understanding and mastery of the ICF definition of coaching, Code of Ethics and Core Coaching Competencies.

Regulation is meant to protect consumers and make sure they are getting what they paid for based on an established set of standards, and that’s exactly what the ICF Credential seeks to do – set the standard for coaching. When you engage an ICF Credentialed member, you can be sure you are working with the best in the industry.

As the second program to earn the highest accreditation designation by the ICF, our Certified Professional Coach (CPC) program qualifies inviteCHANGE as an ICF, Accredited Coach Training Provider, “ACTP”.  This offers a number of advantages for our program participants.

  1. Participation in a program that continuously demonstrates congruence with global standards for learning in the field of coaching and has since 1999 when this framework began.
  2. A learning experience delivered by ICF Credentialed Members as Course Leaders certified at the MCC and PCC level in addition to earning recognition as Certified Mentor Coaches and Coaching Supervisors
  3. Accredited curriculum that delivers a progressive learning experience tailored to each participant through individual observed and mentor coaching sessions along with the instructional rigor necessary to ensure development success for every learning style and stage of personal and professional development.
  4. A community of practitioners with shared values and commitment to excellence and integrity with the ICF Code of Ethics & Professional Conduct in learning and application of coaching
