During this season of giving thanks, I want to pause and acknowledge our Coaches Care initiative which has engaged 27 professional coaches with 9 charitable organizations by coaching leaders who oversee the delivery of services to populations across the globe numbering more than 2,000,000 as well as support for planetary well-being.

Doing this work from October 2020 through November 2021 was described by one leader as “divine intervention.” Completion conversations shared a deep-felt appreciation by both leaders and their coaches. Engaging in the coaching partnerships offered a place to share the struggles and the triumphs that occurred in the face of complexity and uncertainty triggered by a global pandemic.

Coaches Care is the philanthropic arm of inviteCHANGE, connecting a global team of credentialed coaches with foundations and not-for-profit organizations. The goal of social philanthropy: supporting leaders who create solutions to global issues around Climate Emergency, Racial Equity, Healthy Communities, and Human Trafficking to accelerate the teams’ results, strengthen processes and maximize the return on investment of the foundation’s funding to those teams in the field.

We know that professional coaching is a transformative resource, proven to amplify and accelerate learning and forward action so that leader effectiveness grows and sustains. Coaches Care is an inviteCHANGE community service that deploys inviteCHANGE global delivery coaches (ICF Certified) to strengthen and support leaders who create solutions to global societal issues. This year is inviteCHANGE’s inaugural launch of Coaches Care, and we are inspired to look forward to the next year as a time to expand our reach even further.
