Cracking The Shell on Race-Ism

You cannot fix what you don’t understand

If the majority knew of the root of this evil then the road to its cure would not be long.

Albert Einstein

The untold history is a festering wound that prevents healing.

It will take all of us doing our part to build a world that is just and equitable for all people.

Hypocrisy in the US results from incongruence between what we espouse – Equal Justice Under the Law – and the reality experienced in our daily lives.

Designed by Reverend Esther Jones-Alley and delivered in collaboration with inviteCHANGE LLC, "Cracking The Shell on Race-Ism" is an on-demand learning program offering a cohesive thought process for any audience to understand the depth and breadth of the issues, and can be combined with enterprise DEIJ initiatives for comprehensive and sustainable change.

The curriculum pulls together a deep historical perspective about what generates the complex issues of social injustice, racial inequity, non-diversity, community conflict, and unconscious bias to bring forth the underlying causes. The learning experience touches on the following aspects:

  • Mindset shift that touches and moves hearts
  • Changing behaviors that restores humanity in all relations
  • Learning that applies systemically to the talent experience.

Access the Program Guide for an overview of the creation, content, and outcomes of this course in development. We suggest you read the Program Guide prior to watching the video below.

What will you take away from the program?

    • Access and explore the omitted (and changed) history that established the economic structure of the US and how that specifically generated social barriers between Whites and Blacks.
    • Knowledge of accurate facts, placed in historical context that evidences the root cause of today’s racial issues.
    • Gain sobriety and overcome denial about the impact of systemic racism on the well-being of our society.
    • Engage in group discussions about the social and spiritual impact of racial inequities within a safe, sacred, inclusive environment.
    • Information, tools, and methods to create practical change in mindset, relationship behaviors and public policy that replaces the systemic roots with a new, more inclusive, and equitable path forward.

This program is currently in development. If you are interested in learning more, please get in touch with us.
