About Janice Frechette-Artinger

Janice Frechette-Artinger is the Executive Director of Parentis Foundation. In 2016, after joining the Parentis Health Senior Care family, Janice realized that becoming the Executive Director of the Parentis Foundation and launching the AARP Foundation Experience Corps intergenerational literacy program complimented both her humanitarian and philanthropic passions: Youth Development and Senior Advocacy.

For the past nine-years, Janice has proudly served as an Executive Board Member and Major Events Chair for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Capistrano receiving several prestigious volunteer awards including 2018 Champions of Youth Award, 2017 Eddie Arnold Award, 2016 Spirit of Volunteerism Award, and in 2015 the Humanitarian Award.

Through her guidance and leadership the event has grown each of the past seven years both in terms of attendees and net revenue with the event now netting in excess of $200,000 each year. In addition to championing programs that support the future of children, Janice is extremely committed to providing advocacy and support of the Elderly. As a young adult faced with caring for her terminally ill mother, Janice realized her calling to support and educate those facing their end-of-life journey and their families. It was a natural transition for Janice to oversee the volunteer program for Parentis Health Hospice and later begin the Cuddles4Comfort initiative through Parentis Foundation.

Janice possesses a broad professional background in business sales, education and community outreach. Skilled in project management and operational planning, she has successfully led teams of professionals, directed social services programs, and managed small businesses. In all cases, she has utilized her innate marketing and PR skills to achieve success. She began her college education at Cal State Fullerton and later received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Eastern Connecticut State University and is a licensed real estate agent and member of the California Board of Realtors.

Janice is also the proud wife to California native Sam Artinger, mother of three, and grandmother of six.
